Early Life
Mothusi Magano was born in the small village of Phokeng, located on the outskirts of Rustenburg, South Africa.
At the age of five, his family relocated to Mafikeng. He received his primary and high school education in Rustenburg before pursuing further studies at Wits University, where he is believed to have pursued a BA in Dramatic Arts.

Maganos passion for acting emerged early on, and he began his journey at the Mmabana Cultural Center, where he performed in a pantomime production called A Dragon For Dinner. In , he joined the renowned Wits School of Dramatic Art.
During his first year of study, Magano auditioned for various plays at Wits and secured roles in two stage productions: Death and the Maiden and Little Shop of Horrors. In , he was invited to portray the character Harry Lime in a production of The Third Man, directed by a friend. This marked his debut in the film industry with the movie Gums and Noses.
