Family pictures lifetime movie Adoor Bhasi was born on 1 March in Peringanadu, Adoor, Travancore. His father, E. V. Krishna Pillai, was a renowned Malayalam humourist writer, dramatist, pioneering short story writer and essayist, a lawyer and a Member of the then Travancore Legislative Assembly (M.L.C.).

Vazhve Mayam (lit.&#;'Life is an illusion') is a Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by K.

S. Sethumadhavan and written by Thoppil Bhasi, based on the novel of the same name by P. Ayyaneth.

Adoor bhasi family pictures Adoor Bhasi was the childhood friend and close colleague of actor Prem Nazir, whose death in , reportedly disturbed him mentally. He acted in Prem Nazir’s debut film Thyagaseema (), which was never released.

It stars Sathyan, and also features Sheela, Sankaradi, K. P. Ummer, Bahadoor, Adoor Bhasi, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Khadeeja, N. Govindan Kutty, Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai, C. A. Balan, Kuttan Pillai and Philomina.

Sankarady won the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor for his performance in the film.[1] The film was screened as part of the Sathyan retrospective at the 17th International Film Festival of Kerala held at Thiruvananthapuram.

Remakes

The movie was remade in Telugu as Edadugula Bandham ()[citation needed] and as Aap Ki Kasam () in Hindi.[3]
